Claim $1000 Free Dental Treatment for Your Child Using CDBS

The Australian federal government's Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS) is available to many school-aged children. It covers the cost of dental treatment for that child at a dentist of your choice, up to the value of $1000 over a two year period.

If you choose Heidelberg Dentist as your child's dentist and your child is elegible for CDBS, then you probably will not have any out of pocket costs for the treatments that are covered.

What treatments are covered?

There is a wide range of treatments that are covered under CDBS. The most common being: checkups, cleaning, xrays, fissure sealant, fillings, extractions and root canals.

Unfortunately, CDBS rules do not allow us to do orthodontic or cosmetic working using the $1000 cap. However, this benefit allows you the chance to give your child the best dental care possible, without breaking the bank.

Who is elegible for CDBS?

Elegibility rules are complex and it's best to contact the Department of Human Services to work out if your child is elegible. However, if you are busy, let us do the leg for you. Simply fill out the form below and we will contact the Department and let you know if your child is elegible or how much of the $1000 cap is still possible to claim for your him or her.

As with all your communications with us, the information you give us below is held in the strictest confidence.
